Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance microservices using AWS and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Architect scalable solutions handling 10M+ daily API transactions
- Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Contribute to product strategy through technical feasibility analysis
- Ensure system security through rigorous vulnerability testing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system deployments
