Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Node.js, Python, and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical design reviews
- Optimize application performance and security using CI/CD pipelines
- Lead agile sprints using Jira while maintaining 95%+ test coverage
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source initiatives and patent-pending innovations
- Conduct code reviews ensuring adherence to SOLID principles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) with Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless architecture
- Strong grasp of RESTful API design and GraphQL implementation
- Experience with event-driven systems and message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ production-level projects
- Excellent written communication for remote collaboration
