Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define features and solve complex technical challenges.
- Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Testing: Conduct thorough code reviews, write unit tests, and perform debugging to ensure system stability.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
- Deployment: Manage CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps to streamline deployment processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Core Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python.
- Databases: Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis).
- Cloud: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Columbus, OH, or ability to work remotely from Virginia.
