Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and React
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS) for 99.99% uptime
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Conduct performance testing and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to architectural roadmap planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Spring
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design projects
