Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead cloud migration projects on AWS with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Drive DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and IaC implementation
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical innovation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, or Go with distributed systems
- Strong AWS/Azure cloud platform certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred)
- Proven track record of leading successful cloud migrations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design experience
- Ability to relocate to Albuquerque within 30 days of offer
- US citizenship or permanent residency required (visa sponsorship available)
