Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and architectural decisions for high-traffic transactional systems
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL) and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent the company at tech meetups
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java and Spring framework
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong background in relational databases and SQL optimization
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and leading technical projects
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence workflows
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design experience
