Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture using AWS/GCP
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for Java/Python/Node.js stacks
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.9% uptime and zero-downtime deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and present at tech conferences
- Drive innovation through prototyping with emerging technologies like Kubernetes and serverless
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade web applications
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages (Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript)
- Strong foundation in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container orchestration
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and improving team productivity
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design and optimization projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design interview experience
