Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers while adhering to CI/CD best practices
- Architect RESTful APIs and optimize database queries for enterprise applications
- Troubleshoot production issues using observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus)
- Contribute to open-source initiatives and patent-pending innovation projects
- Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Kotlin and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Expertise in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Proven track record of shipping enterprise-grade SaaS products
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence workflows
