Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of scalable cloud-native microservices
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architecture sessions
- Optimize system performance and reliability using A/B testing
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical communities
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design contributions
