Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust software solutions using modern languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Java, Go).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high coding standards and technical excellence.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security across cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement preventative measures to ensure system reliability.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Java with experience in cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Deep understanding of database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis).
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
