Responsibilities
- Develop Scalable Solutions: Design, code, and test high-quality software applications and APIs that meet business requirements and performance standards.
- System Optimization: Monitor system logs and performance metrics during off-peak hours to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Critical Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance, patches, and deployments during the night shift to minimize downtime for day users.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex technical issues, debug code, and implement fixes to ensure system stability.
- Automation: Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual errors.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and runbooks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with experience in React, Angular, or Node.js.
- Infrastructure: Solid understanding of Linux environments, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab), and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) with high reliability.
