We are urgently hiring a talented Software Engineer to join our 24/7 technical operations team. This is a Night Shift position designed for those who thrive in a quiet, focused environment. While we have a presence in Nashville, we offer remote options for the right candidates, allowing you to work from anywhere in the US.
In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining our high-availability software infrastructure. You will work on critical updates, system optimization, and technical support during off-peak hours, ensuring our clients receive seamless service around the clock.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues in production and staging environments with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications.
- Participate in architectural reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our codebase.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met across all projects.
- Document technical processes and maintain clear communication with the wider engineering team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming and Database Management (SQL).
- Demonstrated experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward technical challenges.
