Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend services using Java, Python, and Go
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 24/7 system reliability
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Debug and resolve critical production issues during night shift coverage
- Design CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing workflows
- Collaborate with global teams via async communication tools during off-peak hours
- Contribute to technical documentation and API specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code
- Excellent problem-solving skills with production debugging experience
