Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Terraform
- Debug complex production issues with advanced debugging tools
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Drive code reviews and architectural decisions
- Collaborate with global teams during overlapping hours
- Document technical specifications and API endpoints
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and database optimization
- Proven experience with Agile methodologies and Jira
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM MST)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
