Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications specifically optimized for Night Shift operations.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues that arise during off-peak hours to ensure seamless system functionality.
- Collaborate with product managers and frontend teams to define new features and improve user experience.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior engineers to maintain high code quality standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Implement robust security measures and ensure data integrity across all platforms.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Software Engineering or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript).
- Deep understanding of databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Must be willing and able to work the Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Relocation assistance available for candidates relocating from Baltimore, MD or other East Coast locations.
