Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications for our core platforms.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot critical incidents, and implement patches during maintenance windows.
- Optimize database queries and backend services to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaborate with the remote day-shift team using asynchronous communication tools (Slack, Jira, Confluence).
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural documentation.
- Ensure security compliance and perform automated testing on all deployments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go (specific stack depends on team, but must be strong in at least one).
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Strong knowledge of Linux environments and SQL databases.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently in a remote night environment.
