We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Software Engineer to join our 24/7 critical operations team. As part of our 24/7 support network, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our enterprise infrastructure during the night shift. You will work independently and collaboratively to ensure our services remain online and perform optimally while the rest of the world sleeps.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance software applications and APIs.
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and logs to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to streamline deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Participate in on-call rotations to handle critical incidents during off-hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
