Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs optimized for high-traffic, 24/7 environments.
- Critical Maintenance: Perform complex debugging and code refactoring during off-peak hours to ensure zero downtime and maximum system performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) during overlapping shift windows to align on sprint goals and technical roadmaps.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols and conduct regular audits to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes and reduce manual error.
- Incident Response: Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of critical production incidents that occur during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go; experience with React or AWS is a plus.
- Database: Strong understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL technologies.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
