Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices in Python/Java
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP platforms
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins/GitLab
- Debug production issues across distributed systems
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews
- Document API specifications and technical guides
- Participate in agile ceremonies with global teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend/full-stack development experience
- Expertise in at least one JVM language (Java/Kotlin)
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems design
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Comfortable working night shifts (6 PM - 2 AM EST)
- Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience
