Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems using Java/Python
- Lead cloud infrastructure optimization on AWS/GCP platforms
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Resolve critical production issues during off-peak hours
- Collaborate with global teams via asynchronous communication
- Drive technical documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development (Java/Python)
- Expertise with microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
- Experience leading complex system migrations
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
