Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Lead critical system deployments during off-peak hours with zero-downtime methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and optimize performance
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions for automated deployments
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Develop monitoring systems with real-time alerting for 24/7 operational visibility
- Document technical specifications and contribute to architectural decision-making
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of leading complex system migrations and high-availability deployments
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant certifications (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes) preferred
