Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using Java/Python on AWS infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and optimize system performance for 24/7 global operations
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical documentation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Terraform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Agile sprints and sprint retrospectives
- Troubleshoot complex production issues using distributed tracing tools
- Contribute to architectural decisions for microservices migration
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java or Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Strong background in RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Comfortable working independently during night shift hours
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
