Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP)
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on night shift team
- Optimize system performance for 24/7 production environments
- Collaborate with global teams using Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Automate CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment excellence
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues during shift hours
- Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision-making
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Java/Python/Node.js)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and container orchestration
- Strong background in distributed systems and API design principles
- Proven ability to work independently in night shift environments
- Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
- Excellent problem-solving skills and on-call rotation experience
