Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable software solutions tailored for night-peak operational requirements.
- Debug complex issues and optimize system performance during off-peak hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with the night-shift QA team to ensure rigorous code quality and automated testing standards.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain engineering excellence.
- Participate in on-call rotations to resolve critical incidents immediately during the night shift window.
- Document system architecture and provide detailed technical handovers to day-shift teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in a corporate environment.
- Demonstrated ability and strict willingness to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# and modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
