Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle development of cloud-native microservices using Java/Python
- Architect secure, high-transaction financial systems handling 10M+ daily transactions
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize system performance using Kubernetes and AWS services
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Champion agile methodologies and conduct sprint retrospectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend software development
- Expertise in Java/Python and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and Docker/Kubernetes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with financial systems or payment processing preferred
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade code
