Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes
- Lead API development and integration with third-party financial systems
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmap planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development with Java
- Expertise in RESTful API design and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and caching strategies
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience with strong problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
