Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization with Jenkins and Terraform
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Conduct performance tuning and scalability improvements for AWS-hosted applications
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security best practices including OAuth2 and data encryption
- Participate in agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience (8+ years)
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Deep AWS experience (EC2, Lambda, RDS, EKS) with Terraform
- Strong background in relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Proven track record of leading cloud migration projects
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, SQS)
- ISTQB or AWS certification preferred
