Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and Redis clusters
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Docker
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Develop RESTful APIs with 99.9% uptime SLA requirements
- Conduct thorough testing using JUnit and Selenium frameworks
- Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming ceremonies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native architectures
- Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Proven track record of building high-availability systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the US immediately
