Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable cloud-native applications using Java/Spring Boot and AWS services
- Lead agile development sprints and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Optimize microservices performance and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct code reviews and maintain high-quality standards across the codebase
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust monitoring solutions with Prometheus
- Drive innovation through proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies like AI/ML integration
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization technologies
- Strong background in agile methodologies and CI/CD implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade applications in deadline-driven environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in production debugging
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform is highly preferred
