Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Node.js and Python
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and caching strategies
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using AWS and Jenkins
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Drive A/B testing initiatives to enhance product metrics
- Document technical specifications and API contracts
- Collaborate with Product Design on UX feasibility
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in full-stack development
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
- Proven track record of optimizing system scalability and reliability
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system architectures
