Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor 3+ engineers through code reviews and technical design sessions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Own system reliability and incident response for core payment processing modules
- Drive adoption of DevSecOps best practices across the engineering org
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders and external partners
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Go and distributed systems
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Proven track record of leading production services handling 10M+ transactions/day
- Strong background in financial systems or payment processing domains
- Proficiency in observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience mentoring engineers and fostering engineering excellence
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
