Responsibilities
- Architect scalable backend services using Go/Python and AWS infrastructure
- Lead development of real-time transaction processing systems with 99.99% SLA
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical design reviews
- Optimize microservices for latency and throughput under high transaction loads
- Implement advanced fraud detection algorithms using machine learning models
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements and Kubernetes orchestration
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Go/Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP)
- Strong background in financial systems or high-throughput transaction processing
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/K8s) and infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
- Proven track record of delivering production systems with rigorous security protocols
