Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and UX designers to define and implement new features.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive mentorship to junior engineers.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring 99.9% uptime in production environments.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement robust, long-term solutions.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development using languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
