Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architecture on AWS
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker for automated deployments
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across the engineering team
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL) and implement caching strategies
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical specifications and roadmaps
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development with Java
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of building scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
- Proficiency in SQL databases and NoSQL solutions (Redis/MongoDB)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex systems
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
