Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and develop high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices.
- System Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance, database queries, and API response times.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and other engineers to define features and technical specifications.
- Testing & Debugging: Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability and robustness.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical growth of the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 4+ years of professional software development experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java; experience with React, Node.js, or Angular.
- Databases: Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Cloud: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
