Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Architect and implement scalable microservices for high-frequency equity options trading execution systems.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks to ensure low-latency performance in critical financial transactions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with quantitative analysts and traders to translate complex market data into robust software solutions.
- Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous security protocols to protect sensitive financial data and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on financial or high-frequency trading systems.
- Technologies: Proficiency in C++, Java, Go, or Python.
- Infrastructure: Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Database: Expert knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with equity options, derivatives, or financial market infrastructure is highly preferred.
