Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading engines specifically tailored for Equity Options markets.
- Implement and optimize complex mathematical models for options pricing and Greeks calculation.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to translate financial models into scalable software solutions.
- Ensure system stability, fault tolerance, and low-latency performance under high load.
- Debug and resolve critical issues in real-time trading environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high technical standards.
- Integrate with external market data feeds and clearinghouses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on C++, Python, or Go.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, specifically Equity Options and derivatives pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial, Monte Carlo).
- Experience with low-latency systems and high-frequency trading infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data warehousing for financial analytics.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
