Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance trading systems for equity options valuation and risk management
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate complex financial models into scalable software solutions
- Implement real-time data pipelines handling market feeds exceeding 100K messages/second
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices in distributed systems
- Optimize low-latency trading algorithms using C++ and GPU acceleration
- Contribute to 24/7 system monitoring and incident response protocols
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning to deliver features quarterly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in C++/Java development for financial systems
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial Trees)
- Expertise in high-frequency trading infrastructure and FIX protocol
- Strong knowledge of Linux kernel internals and network optimization
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP)
- Proven ability to deliver mission-critical systems with sub-millisecond latency requirements
