Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software solutions for equity options trading systems
- Collaborate with quants and traders to translate financial models into executable code
- Optimize low-latency trading algorithms handling high-frequency transactions
- Ensure regulatory compliance (SEC, FINRA) in trading platform architecture
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Implement robust security protocols for financial data protection
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure strategy using AWS/GCP services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in software engineering with financial technology focus
- Expertise in Java, Python, or C++ with distributed systems experience
- Familiarity with options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Monte Carlo)
- Strong knowledge of FIX protocol and market data APIs
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Proven track record in optimizing high-throughput trading systems
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks
