Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency trading systems specifically for equity options.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts and traders to translate complex financial models into efficient software.
- Optimize existing codebases to reduce latency and improve throughput under heavy market load.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and architecture to deployment and monitoring.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high coding standards.
- Implement robust error handling and disaster recovery mechanisms to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in the fintech space to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on high-performance computing or low-latency systems.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, or Java.
- Deep understanding of options pricing models and financial derivatives is a strong plus.
