Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-frequency trading systems and pricing models for equity options.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate complex financial formulas into efficient code.
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and low-latency performance under high load.
- Maintain and refactor existing codebases to improve security and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and technical architecture planning sessions.
- Work with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and infrastructure management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in fintech or high-frequency trading.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, or Java.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with financial concepts, specifically equity options and derivatives is a strong plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
