Responsibilities
- Develop High-Performance Trading Engines: Architect and maintain low-latency C++ components for our core pricing and execution systems.
- Derivatives Pricing Models: Implement and optimize mathematical models for Equity Options (including Black-Scholes, Monte Carlo simulations) to ensure accurate valuation.
- Real-Time Data Integration: Integrate with major exchanges and market data providers to ingest and process massive streams of financial data in real-time.
- System Scalability: Design resilient microservices that can scale to handle peak trading volumes without downtime.
- Risk Management: Collaborate with risk compliance teams to ensure all trading algorithms adhere to strict regulatory standards.
- Code Optimization: Profile and optimize database queries and memory management to reduce latency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically within Fintech or High-Frequency Trading (HFT).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C++, Python, and SQL. Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is highly desirable.
- Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial derivatives, specifically Equity Options, options pricing, and risk metrics (Gamma, Vega, Theta).
- Tools: Familiarity with Linux environments, Git, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex, multi-threaded applications and optimize performance-critical code paths.
