Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance low-latency trading systems for equity options markets
- Implement real-time risk management and settlement algorithms using C++/Python
- Collaborate with quant analysts to model complex derivatives pricing strategies
- Optimize system architecture for scalability and 99.99% uptime in production environments
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on clean coding practices
- Integrate with market data feeds (NYSE, NASDAQ) and regulatory reporting frameworks
- Automate testing infrastructure for continuous deployment pipelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in software development with 3+ years in financial technology
- Expertise in C++, Java, or Python with multithreading experience
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial Trees)
- Familiarity with FIX protocol and exchange connectivity solutions
- Experience with Linux kernel tuning and network optimization
- Strong problem-solving skills with distributed systems design
