Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency software for equity options execution engines.
- Optimize existing trading algorithms to maximize yield and minimize system latency.
- Integrate real-time market data feeds and historical pricing models into our trading platform.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative analysts to translate mathematical models into deployable code.
- Ensure 99.99% uptime for critical trading infrastructure and implement robust failover mechanisms.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and agile sprint planning.
- Maintain and upgrade legacy systems to support modern, high-volume trading strategies.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience in C++ or Python with a focus on low-latency applications.
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial, Monte Carlo).
- Experience with multi-threading, high-performance computing, and memory management.
- Familiarity with FIX Protocol, FIXML, and financial market data standards (CME, NASDAQ).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
