Responsibilities
- Architect and develop low-latency, high-throughput systems specifically for Equity Options execution and pricing.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to translate complex mathematical models into production-ready Python and C++ code.
- Optimize database queries and data pipelines to ensure real-time data accuracy for derivative pricing.
- Implement robust risk management frameworks and position reconciliation tools.
- Mentor a team of talented engineers, conducting code reviews and driving technical best practices.
- Ensure system scalability and fault tolerance across distributed cloud environments.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep understanding of Equity Options markets, derivatives pricing (Black-Scholes, binomial models), or similar financial instruments.
- Expert proficiency in C++ (modern standards) and Python for algorithmic trading.
- Strong experience with distributed systems, multi-threading, and concurrency.
- Familiarity with financial APIs (FIX, REST) and market data feeds (Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
