Responsibilities
- Architecture & Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency software systems for equity options pricing and execution engines.
- Algorithm Optimization: Collaborate with quantitative researchers to implement and optimize complex mathematical models into production code.
- System Reliability: Ensure 99.99% uptime for critical trading infrastructure through rigorous testing, monitoring, and automated deployment strategies.
- Code Quality: Lead code reviews, establish coding standards, and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Infrastructure: Work closely with DevOps to manage cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and containerization strategies (Docker/Kubernetes).
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on high-frequency trading or financial systems.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java, and experience with distributed systems.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex issues under tight deadlines.
