What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain low-latency trading engines for equity options.
- Collaborate with quants to design data pipelines and visualization tools.
- Ensure system security, reliability, and uptime for critical financial operations.
- Drive technical decisions and mentor junior engineers within the team.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and debug complex software components for equity options trading systems.
- Optimize database queries and memory usage to handle high-volume data throughput.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable deployment.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation for production incident management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong background in Fintech or Equity Options markets is highly preferred.
- Expert proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Familiarity with financial APIs and market data protocols (FIX, REST, WebSocket).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
