Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading algorithms and software infrastructure for Equity Options.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for our trading platform.
- Optimize existing codebases to reduce latency and improve system throughput under high load.
- Ensure data integrity and security in all financial transactions and market data feeds.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
- Debug complex issues in production environments and implement resilient solutions.
- Contribute to the mentorship of junior engineers and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development, specifically in fintech or financial services.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C++.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, specifically Equity Options and derivatives pricing.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
