Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-performance software applications for our proprietary equity options trading engine.
- Debug complex issues and optimize code for low-latency performance during high-volume trading sessions.
- Collaborate with the product and trading teams to implement new features and security protocols.
- Ensure 24/7 system stability and perform nightly maintenance and database updates.
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions to drive engineering best practices.
- Contribute to the documentation of system architecture and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in Fintech, High-Frequency Trading, or complex financial systems.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong experience with SQL and distributed databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Must be available and willing to work the Night Shift.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with financial market concepts and equity options is highly preferred.
