Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for equity options pricing and trading platforms.
- Optimize existing codebases to ensure sub-millisecond latency in high-frequency trading environments.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate complex financial models into robust software applications.
- Implement and enforce best practices for code quality, security, and system reliability.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, preferably in the finance or fintech sector.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or Java.
- Deep understanding of equity options markets, derivatives pricing, and risk management systems.
- Experience with distributed systems, message queues, and real-time data processing (e.g., Kafka, Redis).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
